NJCL COnvention
The National Junior Classical league (NJCL) is the parent organizations of all the JCL chapters in the united states. The Georgia Junior Classical League is a splinter group of the National Junior Classical League.
Every year, the NJCL sponsors a convention. The convention takes place late July or early August.The location changes every year and moves from one state to another. Over a week long period, students actively engage in social bonding events with classicists from other schools. Such activities include, but are not limited to, tests, dances, competitive quiz bowl(certamen), and athletic events. At the end of the event, students and states will receive awards based on competitive achievements over the past week.
